The streets of Old San Juan gives a feeling of ease, as if you belong there from day one because it is so easy to navigate.
For the week we have been in this city, it never felt sketchy even once. Streets were never overwhelmingly busy and everything felt like 5-10 min distance through the most beautiful colonial streets.
It all felt like a safe playground, even for a girl with a camera to go around exploring on her own.
I even met beautiful strangers who graciously posed for me!
It take about 15 mins to cover the seaside end of the city from one end to the other. Starting by Del Morro and everything in between.
The best part is to make it to Castillo del San Cristobal on the northeast side of the city by sunset to catch incredible views.
And don’t forget, there is also life at night in this city! Mostly concentrated on the San Sebastian Street located mid city.
For me it mostly looks like dressing up and enjoying a stroll through the streets, maybe stopping by a bar or best ice-cream shop in town called Anita La Mamma!
